The problem
Zambelis Concrete Artistry shapes architectural concrete by hand in Ballarat. They came to me with a folder of gallery grade photography and a sharp sense of how the site should feel.
They also had a quote for a Shopify template and no idea where to start. What they needed was something built around the work, not a theme that looks like everyone else's.
Workshops are part of the business too, so they needed to manage sales and availability without paying a developer every time a date changed.
What I built
I built the site from scratch around their media, with full bleed photography, calm typography and a layout that lets the concrete do the talking.
Behind the scenes sits a simple custom backend where they manage workshop listings, bookings and sales themselves.
Where it landed
They run workshop sales and site updates themselves, and the site finally matches the quality of the work in the photos.
